I know, I know.  The little notebook is overflowing, but there are just too many things which need to go in it.  Today’s entry:

1.  I really, really don’t give a decent dump that Mitt Romney is out of the race.  Anybody who doesn’t know by now that he will say anything or flip-flop on any position to get elected needs to watch videos from his gubernatorial campaigns in Massachusetts and compare to his hard-right turn today. 

2.  Also, beloved notebook, let it be known that I’m not surprised or shocked that Mormon Mitt took a parting shot at the gays or claimed that a vote for a Democrat would be akin to waving a white flag to the “terrorists.” I’m so over it.

3.  And, as far as Mitt running again in ‘12, I say “bring it the fuck on.” The same crap that’s stale this year will be so moldy and crusty in four years that it’ll be unrecognizable. 

4.  Oh, supple notebook, I will not engage in schadenfreude regarding the death rattles coming from the ultra-right wingers in their hatred of all things McCain.  If they think the Republican party is ruined, they need look no further than the current occupant of the White House for that fuck-up. 

5.  Sweet, gentle notebook, please allow me a tiny moment to catch my breath regarding Laura Ingraham’s assertion that some Republicans will become “suicide voters” by voting for Hillary over McCain in November.  I would not want anyone to literally commit Seppuku, but I’m more than willing to make an exception when it comes to the end of the nutjobs on the right. 

6.  Finally, my precious, I don’t give a rats’ ass that James Dobson has now hitched himself to the falling star of Mike Huckabee.  Dobson and his lost sheep can stick with that crap all the way to the pearly gates as far as I’m concerned. 

Deep breath.  Now that I’ve gotten that out of my system, why not end the week with a little video?  I got into the habit this week, so here we go.  I thought something a little uplifting was called for.
