Hmm.  Everything that’s wrong with the Bush administration can be summed up in one word:  manliness.  That explains quite a bit, but it could also be that they’re calling those of us who happen to disagree with them a bunch of pussies.  Act like a man, dammit! 

Here’s a question.  How do you think Republicans will win a debate on their performance in the election this year?  They can’t, so the only thing left to do is change the whole debate.  It’ll work, too, because I’m a firm believer in the stupidity of the American electorate. 

I don’t know about you, but I’m sure glad we converted Afghanistan to a democracy.  They’ve really come so far, haven’t they? 

There’s just too many quirkies on the net today, so here’s a big, old dump of stuff that’s been hanging around on digital Stickies: 

• Someone has finally explained the economics of the shaving industry in language we can understand.  I can tell you this much:  the more blades that are added to a razor, the more likely it is to become clogged, no matter how much you rinse.  Real-life experience. 

• Zen and the art of weight loss. Numbers 3 and 4 make the most sense to me, number 5, not so much.  Getting to know the reasons why you eat?  Um, how about because you’re hungry? 

• What does Google say about you?  It could cost you dearly.  That’s not really Google’s fault, of course, but it just goes to show that there are no secrets any more.  That’s why I’ll never run for public office. 

• There are some things in life we can all do without.  This is one of them.

• This lady tells us exactly the way it was.  (Thanks, Jeffrey!)
